GROUP CLASS DESCRIPTIONS

We recommend doing a Pilates workout a minimum of 2 times a week!

Introduction to Pilates New York Mat Workshop (4 – 1 hour classes)

This workshop is recommended for those new to Classical Pilates. This class will familiarize you with the foundation of Pilates mat work. You will be introduced to Pilates movement as well as the language. After completion of the workshops you can move on to the open level Pilates mat classes. Each class in 55 to 60 minutes and is held on weekends and weekdays. All workshops require pre-registration with payment in full to guarantee your participation.

Tower/Mat Class

This class combines the tempo and fluidity of the mat work followed by bars and springs. You will strengthen and tone while increasing flexibility, and burning calories! This class requires pre-registration and pre-payment.

Mat Class

This group class combines all the exercises and philosophies of Pilates apparatus work, but without the apparatus. Since there is no apparatus involved, you will look to your own body to create resistance. This is an amazing way to connect with and strengthen your “Powerhouse”. It is great to combine with privates, semi’s and duets. This class requires pre-registration and pre-payment.
