Intro­duc­tion to Pilates New York Mat Work­shop (4 – 1 hour classes)

This work­shop is rec­om­mended for those new to Clas­si­cal Pilates. This class will famil­iar­ize you with the foun­da­tion of Pilates mat work. You will be intro­duced to Pilates move­ment as well as the lan­guage. After com­ple­tion of the work­shops you can move on to the open level Pilates mat classes. Each class in 55 to 60 min­utes and is held on week­ends and week­days. All work­shops require pre-registration with pay­ment in full to guar­an­tee your participation.

Tower/Mat Class

This class com­bines the tempo and flu­id­ity of the mat work fol­lowed by bars and springs. You will strengthen and tone while increas­ing flex­i­bil­ity, and burn­ing calo­ries! This class requires pre-registration and pre-payment.

Mat Class

This group class com­bines all the exer­cises and philoso­phies of Pilates appa­ra­tus work, but with­out the appa­ra­tus. Since there is no appa­ra­tus involved, you will look to your own body to cre­ate resis­tance. This is an amaz­ing way to con­nect with and strengthen your “Pow­er­house”. It is great to com­bine with pri­vates, semi’s and duets. This class requires pre-registration and pre-payment.
