I have space between my thighs now! It’s not that I lost a lot of weight with pilates — although I have lost some — it’s that my body is sculpted and shows def­i­n­i­tion in a way I’ve never had, even as a teenager.  I didn’t think it was phys­i­cally pos­si­ble for there to be space between my thighs, but now my thighs, while still full, are toned and curve slightly through the quad so that there is a dis­tinct hol­low and space between their cen­ters. The other areas I notice most are my upper arm and shoul­der def­i­n­i­tion, as well as abs.

One rea­son I’ve had such great results may be because I’ve stuck with pilates longer than any­thing else I’ve tried. It’s never bor­ing, because there’s always some­thing new to try, and I’ve grown to feel that the staff and other clients at Red­mond Pilates are a new set of sun­shiney, low-key friends. The instruc­tors are unfail­ingly upbeat, kind, and just great to be around.  The other clients are just as happy as I am when they arrive to spend an hour play­ing on the fun, springy and slidey pilates equip­ment, and we’re all like kids on a play­ground. I tell every­body who asks that pilates is basi­cally recess for adults — and it is!  Fun, healthy, and it makes you look good naked. Worth every penny.
