Sculpted Body
I have space between my thighs now! It’s not that I lost a lot of weight with pilates — although I have lost some — it’s that my body is sculpted and shows definition in a way I’ve never had, even as a teenager. I didn’t think it was physically possible for there to be space between my thighs, but now my thighs, while still full, are toned and curve slightly through the quad so that there is a distinct hollow and space between their centers. The other areas I notice most are my upper arm and shoulder definition, as well as abs.
One reason I’ve had such great results may be because I’ve stuck with pilates longer than anything else I’ve tried. It’s never boring, because there’s always something new to try, and I’ve grown to feel that the staff and other clients at Redmond Pilates are a new set of sunshiney, low-key friends. The instructors are unfailingly upbeat, kind, and just great to be around. The other clients are just as happy as I am when they arrive to spend an hour playing on the fun, springy and slidey pilates equipment, and we’re all like kids on a playground. I tell everybody who asks that pilates is basically recess for adults — and it is! Fun, healthy, and it makes you look good naked. Worth every penny.
